Bellwether provide Project Management and support services to private and government client’s right across Australia and beyond. We’re looking for Civil Engineers / Project Managers (ideally RPEQ) to assist local councils with the planning and the delivery of projects including stormwater, roads, bridges and DTMR projects.

Contract durations usually around 6 – 12 months with likely extensions.

Opportunities with various local councils around SEQ. Easy DIDO from Brisbane. Flexible / remote working arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical supervision and guidance to support local councils with their civil infrastructure programs
• Manage schedules with technical staff and coordinators, through implementation of planning, systems, and processes
• Have an extensive understanding of local council / TMR projects
• Develop and maintain budget reporting for projects and programs
• RPEQ is not mandatory but would be advantageous

We’re looking for RPEQ Project Engineers and Project Managers to come and help us deliver our projects across South East Queensland.

Projects we’ve successfully delivered include flood recovery works, streetscapes, road construction / upgrades, bulk earthworks, bridges, and water infrastructure.

We’re a supportive team with a direct line of contact to the Directors, a new fleet of vehicles, and we can offer highly competitive remuneration packages.

What you’ll need:

• Experienced leading the delivery of civil projects TMR / RMS and / or local government projects
• Ideally RPEQ or can obtain reasonably soon
• Highly proficient leading leading project teams and ensuring quality, time, and budgets are met
• Excellent communication / stakeholder liaison skills

Bellwether are Principal Contractors who provide Project Delivery expertise across the project life cycle from project conception to completion.

Due to recent project wins we require Civil Supervisors to join our Civil Infrastructure team to carry out the site supervision on our TMR and local council road rehab projects. Current project locations are Brisbane, Dalby, Gatton, and Ipswich.

These projects will run for approx 12 months with a good project pipeline ahead of us, work / life balance rosters, above award salaries with vehicle, fuel card, site uplifts, and accommodation all provided.

Projects we’ve successfully delivered include flood recovery works, streetscapes, road construction / upgrades, bulk earthworks, bridges, and water infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will have:

• At least 5-10 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor or Leading Hand, particularly on TMR / roads / drainage projects
• Experience in supporting Project Managers and Engineers in the successful delivery of projects
• Experience with TMR &/or RMS Projects and standards
• Knowledge of quality, environmental and work health and safety management systems
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable Computer literacy commensurate with acceptable industry standards
• Any Industry qualifications will be an advantage & highly regarded
