Project Description
Brisbane City Council is undertaking a number of key road upgrades between 2014 and 2019 to improve capacity and safety for all users.
$74 million was secured in funding from the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery (R2R) Program which helps local governments carry out key road projects.
As Brisbane continues to grow, these projects will prove invaluable in keeping our city moving by enabling our roads to handle increased traffic demands and by improving road safety for all users.
Allocated funding will be spread over five years between the 2014-15 and 2018-19 financial years, supporting design, land acquisition and construction stages of projects as required.
Bellwether Contribution
Bellwether is providing civil inspection and quality surveillance services for the DDA Bus Stop Compliance Program; and Road Resurfacing Program.
