Our company was formed on the back of our two founding director’s devotion to successful engineering and construction delivery, predominantly with Tier 1 construction companies.
Established in 2011, we have strategically and organically developed our capability, capacity and processes such that today we offer a range of professional services to blue-chip clients delivering major infrastructure projects across Australasia. Bellwether Group has two separate divisions: Bellwether Consulting and Bellwether Contractors.
Our Consulting offering is primarily client-facing and incorporates all fixed fee and variable rate professional services work (i.e. secondments). Bellwether Consulting also provides a pre-contract estimating function for Bellwether Contractors.
Bellwether Contractors, as principal contractor, pursue projects that offer design and construct disciplines and take a collaborative approach in solving engineering challenges. The synergies between our two divisions bring together a combined value to our clients across the entire project lifecycle.

Stephen is responsible for the company wide operations of Bellwether Group. He has over 20 years of experience in civil construction projects with major Australian contractors nation-wide, on projects of up to $1.5bn in value. Stephen has a diverse background in engineering design, development, construction management and consulting. He specialises in project development, construction planning and project management across Major Infrastructure, Water and Transportation projects.
Ben spearheads Bellwether Group’s construction implementation for all major client-side projects. With over 15 years of experience in construction management, he has extensive expertise in the development of effective construction processes, project controls, project integration as well as direct management of large construction projects. These projects have ranged in value from $2m lump sum, to $3bn joint ventures. Ben specialises in Project Controls and Project Management of complex construction projects.
