Inspector – TMR Projects – Sunshine Coast

We have an opportunity on the Sunshine Coast for experienced Inspectors on TMR projects. Contract term is 12 months.
Bellwether provide Project Management and support services to private and government client’s right across Australia and beyond. We have an opportunity on the Sunshine Coast for experienced Inspectors / Surveillance Officers carrying out the inspections on TMR projects.  

Contract term is 12 months, start date is approx Aug 24.

Requirements:

  • Prequalified as Roadworks Inspectors to IR02 level
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience

We’re after a Client Side Project Controls Manager and a Contracts Administrator for a large-scale flood recovery program in Northern NSW. The ideal candidates will have comprehensive experience across the full lifecycle of complex, high-value public infrastructure projects.

Contract durations are 12 months with likely extensions.

Leadership opportunity with local council in Northern NSW.

Easy DIDO from Brisbane or Gold Coast. Flexible / remote working arrangements will be considered.

Key responsibilities (Project Controls Manager):

  • Demonstrated experience on civil infrastructure projects, ideally flood or disaster recovery
  • Strategic leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of guiding teams to successful project delivery
  • Establish, monitor, and review financial benchmarks to meet budget objectives
  • Implement project control standards aligned with industry best practices
  • Champion the continuous improvement of project control processes

Key Responsibilities (Contracts Administrator):

  • Maintain the integrity of contract information and coordinate the contract administration process 
  • Provide expert advice on contractual conditions, budget and cost control
  • Prepare and submit all commercial notices and claims in a timely manner 
  • Assist contract managers in preparing all monthly cost reports and project reports.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate client, stakeholder, and supplier relationships

We are currently looking for several experienced Client Side Project Managers to manage the delivery of various road and bridge projects across the SEQ region including intersection upgrades, programmed maintenance, and rehabilitation works.

Long term contracts – up to 2 years.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage assigned projects and ensure they’re running to time and budget
  • Provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the projects
  • Monitor and report on project progress against time, cost and quality
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders and interfaces
  • Carry out site inspections when required
  • Prepare and deliver reports

Requirements

We’re after Site Supervisors to join our team on our recent TMR / local council project wins. SEQ based projects.

Bellwether are Principal Contractors who provide Project Delivery expertise across the project life cycle from project conception to completion.

Due to recent project wins we require Civil Supervisors to join our Civil Infrastructure team to carry out the site supervision on our TMR and local council road rehab projects. Current project locations are Dalby, Gatton, and Ipswich.

These projects will run for approx 12 months with a good project pipeline ahead of us, work / life balance rosters, above award salaries with vehicle, fuel card, site uplifts, and accommodation all provided.

Projects we’ve successfully delivered include flood recovery works, streetscapes, road construction / upgrades, bulk earthworks, bridges, and water infrastructure.

We’re a supportive team with a direct line of contact to the Directors, a new fleet of vehicles, and we can offer all-inclusive salary packages.
 
Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 5-10 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor or Leading Hand, particularly on TMR / roads / drainage projects
  • Experience in supporting Project Managers and Engineers in the successful delivery of projects
  • Experience with TMR &/or RMS Projects and standards
  • Knowledge of quality, environmental and work health and safety management systems
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable Computer literacy commensurate with acceptable industry standards
  • Any Industry qualifications will be an advantage & highly regarded
